TRED Pro(TM) is the world's most advanced and highly engineered all-in-one off-road vehicle recovery device; specifically designed to get your four wheel drive, ATV and off road equipment out of trouble when traction is lost in sand, mud or snow. Its 100% Australian made and owned and it was the first recovery board with a lifetime warranty. TRED Pro(TM) is the next generation of the successful TRED(TM) off road recovery device engineered and manufactured in Australia. We are confident TRED Pro(TM) will outperform any other recovery boards in the market and will give you the ability to explore with confidence, without the lack of traction disrupting your journey. EXOTRED(TM) - TRED Pro's unique and patented composite construction, ensures that during wheel spin in a recovery the ramp/teeth won't suffer instant catastrophic damage that is commonly experienced with other leading recovery ramp products. The special polyolefin material blend means TRED Pro's can handle high levels of flex, are highly durable and wear resistant. The mix of elasticity and tough rigid design in the main body means that your TRED Pro(TM) maintains a high level of pressure on your tire, this ultimately provides traction while still allowing the flex of the TRED Pro(TM) under the vehicle's weight on unstable ground. TRED Pro(TM) features a unique patented grip profile, specifically engineered to engage with the water evacuation channels on the tire. ARB engineers utilized 3D scanning and CAD modeling of the most popular tire brands to create a database of the world's highest selling off road tires. Through this data collection, they have been able to use real data dimensions to optimize teeth/nodule design and layout to make TRED Pro(TM) the ultimate in traction for recovery board devices. TRED Pro(TM) has improved on the original TRED product to ensure both the products design and material is optimized for use across a variety of terrains and seasons.

Today, we supply and manufacture a complete selection of the most highly regarded 4WD accessories in the world. Unlike many 4x4 equipment suppliers that simply stock a collection of parts with a low cost, ‘one size fits all' mentality, ARB thoroughly researches and tests each product before releasing it to the 4x4 public. We consider many factors during this analysis, including specific vehicle characteristics, the conditions the product will work in, and the overall quality of the product itself. Take suspension systems for example. Many aftermarket 4x4 suspension kits ignore the obvious differences between varying vehicle suspension set-ups and driver requirements, offering instead an increased ride height and little else. ARB's Old Man Emu suspension division employs a very different approach. Typically our OME engineers will purchase the vehicle in question, test it in a variety of conditions to determine if and where improvements can be made, then develop a line of finely tuned, totally integrated suspension systems, each offering varying degrees of comfort, load carrying capability and control characteristics. When combined with our state-of-the-art manufacturing plants and a highly skilled workforce, this attention to detail is what sets ARB 4x4 equipment apart. So whether you're new to 4WDing and putting your first truck to the test, or a 4x4 veteran getting set for your next off road adventure, you can rely on ARB 4x4 Accessories… we won't let you down.
In 1975, Tony Brown, an experienced off-roader, set out for Cape York in his Land Rover Series I. However, he quickly discovered that the majority of his time was spent assisting other off-roaders who were experiencing difficulties along the way. When he wasn't fixing fragile roof racks that had been destroyed by the large loads that are characteristic of travel in the Outback, he was restoring bumpers and different handcrafted things that had gone apart in the harsh terrain. As Tony became more aware with the shortcomings of these items, the concept for his company to manufacture high-quality, long-lasting equipment that was designed exclusively for the harsh circumstances of the outback emerged. Tony immediately went to work at the family garage once he arrived back in Melbourne. His goods were supposed to be based on a mix of trustworthy raw materials and strong design ideas; they were supposed to be a simple solution to a common issue.
Tony's first attempt at creating custom-fabricated goods was a bumper for his personal Series I Land Rover. His wares were enthusiastically received as soon as they were introduced to the nascent 4x4 market. When bumpers were rudimentary home-made constructions at the time, Tony's goods demonstrated a level of durability and dependability that was unmatched on the road. Later that year, due to the overwhelming demand from his fellow off-roaders, he was able to relocate to a manufacturing facility that was one thousand square feet in size. It was at this time that ARB, an acronym for Anthony Ronald Brown, was established.
Today, ARB is the most successful business in Australia dedicated to the production and distribution of 4x4 components. What started out as the fabrication of bespoke roof racks and bumpers has now expanded to include side rails, rear bumpers, Old Man Emu Suspension, recovery gear, canopies, Air Locker® locking differentials, and a whole host of other minor things, ranging from air compressors to tire attachments.
The firm is well prepared to meet the requirements of all 4WD enthusiasts as it maintains offices in the majority of Australia's major towns and maintains over one hundred retailers throughout the country. A sizeable international presence has also been established as a direct result of the company's achievements. This presence includes offices in the United States of America, Thailand, and the Czech Republic, in addition to an export network that spans more than one hundred countries, including South Africa, Germany, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia.
ARB has never forgotten its modest roots. ARB continues to place a premium on quality, dependability, and practicality despite the fact that its products are used in some of the most extreme environments on the planet, including the Australian Outback. It doesn't matter whether you're going to play in Moab, traverse the Rubicon Trail, or simply go out to a favorite local area; you can count on ARB 4x4 Accessories to be your partner in adventure ever since the company was founded in 1975.
