The Tornado LT spreader has a 3" diameter auger feed system and a 2" steel spinner for spreading all types of de-icing materials. • DUAL ELECTRIC MOTORS Two instant-start, 12-volt electric motors provide independent control over the auger and spinner mechanisms. The spinner motor is sealed inside a weather-resistant housing, protecting it from corrosion.
• VIBRATING INVERTED V A standard 12-volt vibrator is directly connected to the inverted V, providing maximum agitation to help break up clumps and ensure the smooth flow of material.
• STANDARD TOP SCREEN Helps break up large chunks of de-icing material during loading to help prevent clogging and bridging during operation.
• ONE-PIECE POLY HOPPER This one-piece poly hopper body is supported by a power-coated steel frame for structural integrity and low-maintenace life-long performance.
• FITTED TARP COVER A standard fitted tarp cover helps ice control material stay dry to prevent clumping.
• TRANSVERSE AUGER DELIVERY SYSTEM Automatically backs itself in and out until an obstruction is cleared or a required adjustment has been made.
• BOLT DOWN BED MOUNT A positive-lock, bolt-down bed mount provides secure installation.
• VARIABLE SPEED CONTROL The dual variable-speed control provides independent control over rate of delivery and spread pattern for optimal ice control coverage with minimum waste.
