The Go Rhino E-Boards are dual motor, electric running boards. Automatically deploying when
you open the door of your truck, Bronco, Jeep, or SUV, the E-Board provides a secure 6” wide durable aluminum
running board with an anti-slip surface. For additional safety and security, the integrated LED lights turn on
automatically when the E-Board deploys. When closing your door, the E-Board automatically retracts, providing
your vehicle with optimal ground clearance and protection for its rocker panel, all the while preserving the
look of your vehicle. The Go Rhino E-Board fits 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, or 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
The easy-to-install,
magnetically-activated door switches leave your OBD port free for other accessories. The Go Rhino E-Boards
include an automatic safety stop and manual override capabilities. Most applications do not require drilling
for installation.
There are two finishes available: a textured black powder coat and an exclusive
protective bedliner coating. Each step pad supports up to 300 lbs. (600 lbs. per side for 4-door vehicles).
Traditionally in the power step market, electric running boards are powered by a single motor. However, Go
Rhino E-Boards have a dual-motor system. The independent motors in each E-Board provide more stability and
are reliable even in extreme climates.
When comparing the Go Rhino E-Boards to other leaders in the
power step market, it’s difficult to gauge long-term performance as the E-Boards have only recently been
introduced. The AMP Research Power Steps have become a tried and proven option over time with their
all-weather performance and reliability. They are also compatible with a wider range of vehicles. However,
the AMP Research Power Steps require the use of a vehicle’s OBD port, while the Go Rhino E-Boards do not. In
addition, the AMP Research Power Steps are only available in one option, while the Go Rhino E-Boards are
available in two finishes: textured black powder coat, and an exclusive bedliner coating.
As the Go
Rhino E-Boards are not designed for intense off-roading, some may consider power steps such as the Aries
ActionTrac. However, the Aries ActionTrac operates on a single-motor system, while the Go Rhino E-Boards
have dual-motors.
The Go Rhino E-Boards are a great option for anyone looking for the convenience of a powered step, but isn’t needing a slider/step for rock crawling or serious off-road travel. If you’re looking for a reliable and fairly priced step to maintain your vehicle’s clean look, the Go Rhino E-Boards are a perfect option.
The Go Rhino E-Boards aren’t the least expensive steps on the market, and therefore wouldn’t be the best option for anyone looking to find the cheapest option. The Go Rhino E-Boards are not designed for rock crawling or serious off-roading, being likely unable to hold up to these sorts of applications. The E-Boards are also currently limited to popular, current gen models, meaning those with older model trucks, Jeeps, or SUVs will need to consider alternative options.
